Taylor Sheridan\u2019s television universe continues to expand, but The Madison<\/em><\/a> takes a different path from the dramas that made him famous, including Yellowstone<\/em><\/a>, Mayor of Kingstown<\/em>, 1883<\/em>, 1923<\/em>, Tulsa King<\/em>, and Landman<\/em><\/a>. His latest Paramount+ series, starring Michelle Pfeiffer<\/a> and Kurt Russell, follows a wealthy New York family whose lives change after a tragedy sends them to the valley around Montana\u2019s Madison River.<\/p>\n

Pfeiffer leads the show as Stacy Clyburn, the matriarch of the Clyburn family, who relocates to the remote landscape following a personal tragedy. Speaking about the role, Pfeiffer described Stacy as someone trying to hold her family together under unimaginable circumstances. \u201cShe is really the anchor of her family and trying to be the moral compass when tragedy ensues,\u201d she said in a February 2026 interview with Town & Country<\/em><\/a>. \u201cThey\u2019re this New York socialite family traveling in all of the elite circles, and struggle is not something that they experience often.\u201d<\/p>\n

Russell plays Stacy\u2019s husband, Preston, who feels far more at home in Montana than in Manhattan. The actor noted that Sheridan\u2019s newest project stands apart from many of the creator\u2019s previous shows. \u201cIt\u2019s a woman\u2019s journey,\u201d Russell told T&C<\/em>. \u201cWe see everything from that point of view.\u201d<\/p>\n

The six-episode drama also stars Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Patrick J. Adams, Matthew Fox, and Amiah Miller.<\/p>\n

The first three episodes debut together on March 14, with the remaining three (including the season finale) arriving one week later, on March 21. Each batch of episodes will hit the streaming service at 3 A.M. ET.<\/p>\n
