Still, experts warn that the technique is not for everyone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPhysical exfoliation methods like dry brushing aren\u2019t something I routinely recommend because they can be irritating and may introduce microtears in the skin, particularly in sensitive skin types,\u201d Queen said. \u201cThe dermatologic benefits are fairly limited.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After her Bible and body brush (#blessed), Crawford massages her face for 15 minutes using a gua sha tool and the\u00a0skin softening cleanser from her skincare brand, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/meaningfulbeauty.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meaningful Beauty<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gua sha<\/h2>\n<p>Gua sha is an ancient Chinese technique used to stimulate circulation and reduce inflammation.<\/p>\n<p>TikTokkers swear by it for creating a slimmer-looking jawline and soothing the neck muscles.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Crawford begins her day at 6 a.m. <span class=\"credit\">@cindycrawford\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cGua sha can be helpful for temporary depuffing and lymphatic drainage, which is why many people notice their face looks less swollen after using it.
