First up is a <em>Modern Love<\/em> podcast on practicing polyamory <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2026\/03\/04\/podcasts\/lindy-west-polyamory-marriage.html?ref=laineygossip.com\" rel=\"noreferrer\">with her husband<\/a>. It\u2019s\u2026complicated. She also gave an interview to <em>Variety<\/em> about her semi-autobiographical TV show, <em>Shrill<\/em>, and says she felt like an outsider <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/tv\/global\/shrill-lindy-west-hulu-weird-invisible-cast-writers-1236683936\/?ref=laineygossip.com\" rel=\"noreferrer\">during the process<\/a>. I\u2019m not super familiar with the show but isn\u2019t he like a main character who most of the storylines <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2026\/03\/stewie-family-guy-spinoff-fox-seth-macfarlane-1236750831\/?ref=laineygossip.com\" rel=\"noreferrer\">are built around<\/a>? Is the spin-off necessary because it will be a new tone, or new characters \u2013 what are they doing with this character that can\u2019t be done on <em>Family Guy<\/em>? I\u2019m not sure, but it\u2019s been given a two-season order. Not two episodes, two full seasons.
