This isn\u2019t a Katy Perry\/Taylor Swift Bad Blood-level feud but there are some similarities: Katy and Taylor fell out over tour dancers, and Kacey co-wrote \u201cMama\u2019s Broken Heart\u201d for her own album but it was shopped to Miranda, who ultimately ended up putting it on her album<\/a>. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Years later, they are both solid in their careers so it probably makes it sting a little less, and it was Kacey who reached out. \u201cHorses and Divorces\u201d is a great song title.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n It really is 2016 again because Lindy West, a staple of the 2010s Internet culture war, is back to kick up a lot of conversations promoting her new book, Adult Braces<\/em>. She also gave an interview to Variety<\/em> about her semi-autobiographical TV show, Shrill<\/em>, and says she felt like an outsider during the process<\/a>. It\u2019s an interesting read and also very aligned with what a lot of novice TV creators experience, the shock of having their story chopped up and put back together for a storyline. Hacks<\/em> and The Comeback<\/em> are great at exploring the kind of gutting compromises it takes to lead a show, and for an oldie but a goodie, Episodes<\/em>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Why is there always a Jumanji<\/em> filming. It\u2019s like Game of Thrones<\/em>, endless production.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Family Guy<\/em> has been on for TV for 25 years, which is kind of bonkers, and Stewie (the talking baby) just got a spin-off. I\u2019m not super familiar with the show but isn\u2019t he like a main character who most of the storylines are built around<\/a>? Is the spin-off necessary because it will be a new tone, or new characters \u2013 what are they doing with this character that can\u2019t be done on Family Guy<\/em>? I\u2019m not sure, but it\u2019s been given a two-season order. Not two episodes, two full seasons.
