Sugababes<\/a> have spoken to NME<\/em> about new music on the way, wanting to join forces with \u201cincredible\u201d PinkPantheress<\/a>, and why they believe that speaking out against injustice is \u201cthe reason why we\u2019re all here on this planet\u201d.<\/p>\n The trio took to the stage at Wembley Arena on Wednesday (March 11) as part of the star-studded line-up for the Trans Mission show<\/a>, organised by Olly Alexander<\/a> and Mighty Hoopla<\/a>\u2019s Glyn Fussell.<\/p>\n Dubbed \u201cA Night of Solidarity For A Lifetime Of Change\u201d<\/a>, the concert worked to raise funds for non-profit organisations the Good Law Project<\/a> and the transgender charity Not a Phase<\/a>.<\/p>\n Joining Sugababes on the bill were Wolf Alice<\/a>, Beth Ditto<\/a>, Adam Lambert<\/a>, HAAi<\/a>, Jasmine.4.T<\/a>, Kae Tempest<\/a>, Kate Nash<\/a>, MNEK<\/a>, Romy<\/a>, Sophie Ellis-Bextor<\/a>, Sir Ian McKellen<\/a>, Jordan Stephens<\/a>, Munroe Bergdorf, Nicola Coughlan, Zack Polanski and more.<\/p>\n Backstage, the pop legends caught up with NME<\/em> before they went to perform classic tracks \u2018Overload\u2019 and \u2018About You Now\u2019, and shared that they wanted to join the stacked line-up because they have always seen themselves as \u201ca band that\u2019s about unity\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a no-brainer when we were asked to be involved in the show,\u201d Siobh\u00e1n Donaghy said. \u201cIt was an immediate yes, especially because it\u2019s such a topical subject at the moment, and one that\u2019s quite close to our hearts.
