\n\tThis week, New Music Friday was all about major comebacks.<\/p>\n
\n\tKacey Musgraves dropped \u201cDry Spell,\u201d the lead single for Middle of Nowhere, <\/em>her first studio album since 2024\u2019s Grammy-winning Deeper Well<\/em>. The winking, sensual song previews a 13-track set that includes collaborations with Willie Nelson, Billy Strings, Gregory Alan Isakov and even Miranda Lambert. Middle of Nowhere<\/em> arrives May 1, via the recently revived Lost Highway Records.<\/p>\n \n\tThe Pussycat Dolls continued the comeback trend with \u201cClub Song,\u201d the group\u2019s first new single in six years, which coincided with the announcement of its forthcoming arena-headlining world tour. The PCD Forever Tour<\/a> will play over 50 dates across the U.K., Europe and North America, with Grammy winners Lil\u2019 Kim and M\u00fda joining as special guests. This Pussycat Dolls reunion will bring together founding members Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt and Ashley Roberts. The other three members of the original six-piece lineup \u2014 Melody Thornton, Jessica Sutta and Carmit Bachar \u2014 are sitting this trek out.<\/p>\n \n\tNew singles also arrived from Noah Kahan (\u201cPorch Light\u201d); Momo Boyd (\u201cStrong\u201d); Luke Combs (\u201cI Ain\u2019t No Cowboy\u201d); Vybz Kartel and Shenseea (\u201cTalk to Me Nuh\u201d); Samara Cyn (\u201cOooshxt!\u201d); Lainey Wilson (\u201cCan\u2019t Sit Still\u201d); 50 Cent and Leon Thomas (\u201cNo One Told Us\u201d); Shaggy and Robin Thicke (\u201cLooking Lovely\u201d); Sienna Spiro (\u201cThe Visitor\u201d) and Kenya Grace (\u201cNaked\u201d).<\/p>\n \n\tJack Harlow hasn\u2019t dropped a project since 2023\u2019s Jackman<\/em>, and he threw the world a curveball with his new Monica <\/em>album. Across nine succinct tracks recorded at New York City\u2019s Electric Lady Studios, the Louisville MC trades his signature bars for tender crooning vaguely reminiscent of Soulquarian-era R&B.<\/p>\n \n\tGrammy-winning cross-genre savant James Blake also shared an immersive new album titled Trying Times<\/em>, while Los Angeles alt-pop band LANY dropped Soft 2<\/em>, an expanded edition of its 2025 LP.
