Raven-Symon\u00e9 named her Disney Channel Mount Rushmore on Tuesday’s March 10 Stepping Into The Shade Room<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n She highlighted late actor Lee Thompson Young for being the first Black lead on a Disney Channel show<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Fans debated her choices online, with some suggesting Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and Demi Lovato as contenders<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Raven-Symon\u00e9<\/a> is getting candid about her time at the Disney Channel \u2014 and her former peers.<\/p>\n The multi-hyphenate, 40, stopped by the Tuesday, March 10 edition of Stepping Into The Shade Room<\/em><\/a>, <\/em>where she was asked to name the Disney Channel stars on her Mount Rushmore.<\/p>\n After being offered examples of former stars like Hilary Duff<\/a> and Zendaya<\/a>, Symon\u00e9 said, “I would say me, Hilary, Shia [LaBeouf]<\/a>.”<\/p>\n When Miley Cyrus<\/a>, who starred in Hannah Montana<\/em>, came up, Symon\u00e9 said, “I would also put in\u00a0The Famous Jett Jackson<\/em>,” a show that starred Lee Thompson Young<\/a>, who died in 2013.<\/p>\n \u201cNo, not Miley,\u201d Symon\u00e9 said before adding, \u201cI love you, Miley, but not Miley. She came after.\u201d<\/p>\n As for why she included Thompson Young, Symon\u00e9 said that it is because “he was the first Black show on Disney.”<\/p>\n “He definitely deserves a spot,” she said.<\/p>\n Symon\u00e9 is known for starring in the titular role of Raven Baxter<\/a>, a teenager who experienced psychic \u201cvisions\u201d whose powers often got her friends and family in and out of trouble on That\u2019s So Raven, <\/em>which ran from 2003 to 2007.\u00a0 The show was rebooted as Raven\u2019s Home<\/em><\/a> from 2017 to 2023, with Symon\u00e9 reprising her character.<\/p>\n
