Singing sensation Jane McDonald<\/a> has shared her excitement at heading to Leeds and Sheffield on her upcoming arena tour.<\/p>\nThe TV presenter and singer<\/a>, who was born and raised in Wakefield, appeared on James Martin’s Saturday Morning on March 14 to promote her upcoming album Living The Dream.<\/p>\nJane’s 11th studio album<\/a> features nine original songs and four country classics with will be supported by a 2026 UK tour later this year.<\/p>\nThe tour kicks off in Derby in August 28 and heads across the UK before the final date in Leeds on September 26.<\/p>\n
Opening up about recording her new music, shared: “I started writing [the album] and all of a sudden I said, ‘This sounds a bit country’. So I said, ‘Why don’t we go to Nashville to do it?’ and we had the most amazing time.<\/p>\n

I mean, I’ve got no money left, but it doesn’t matter, does it?”<\/p>\n
“I’ve gone from Abbey Road to Nashville and it’s just one of those albums that I just can’t wait for people to hear it and it’s out next week. I took a TV crew with me and I think that’s coming out in about four weeks.”<\/p>\n
Jane went on to share her excitement at performing at Leeds Arena on her upcoming tour later this year.<\/p>\n

She explained: “Well, I can’t believe it really. Because we’ve got the new album, we decided to tour the album and the last tour did so well and we’d start to sort of dip into arenas then. So now there’s only about two or three theatres in the whole tour now.<\/p>\n
“Leeds Arena is like my own turf in it. I get to sleep in my own bed. It’s just little things like that that cheer you up isn’t it?<\/p>\n
“So, I just can’t believe it and it’s August and September that we’re out on tour. We’re going to Sheffield Arena and Manchester Arena too.”<\/p>\n
