Prince Harry’s spokesperson has criticised a new book claiming his wife Meghan “brainwashed” him, calling it a “deranged conspiracy”.<\/p>\n
The claims about the couple, who are estranged from the Royal Family, were made in extracts from a biography about the Duke of Sussex by author Tom Bower which were published in The Times<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n According to Bower, who has written various biographies about the royals, Queen Camilla<\/a><\/strong> told a friend: “Meghan’s brainwashed \u200cHarry.”<\/p>\n The author also wrote that Harry’s elder brother, Prince William<\/a><\/strong>, and his wife Kate were allegedly alarmed by Meghan’s impact on him.<\/p>\n “Both evidently saw Meghan as a threat rather than an ally,” Bower wrote in Betrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family, which will be released later this month.<\/p>\n There were also claims Harry<\/a><\/strong> was scared the Prince of Wales might effectively banish him after seeing the dramatic demise of their uncle, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who was stripped of all titles and removed from his home at Royal Lodge<\/a><\/strong> over his links to the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n Harry and Meghan, a former actress, tied the knot in May 2018 before they stepped down as senior working royals in 2020<\/a><\/strong> and relocated to California.<\/p>\n They have two children together, six-year-old Archie and four-year-old Lilibet.<\/p>\n Read more:
