For 19 years now, Women in Film (WIF) has celebrated the Oscars with a pre-ceremony gala highlighting all the women nominated at the prestigious awards. And 2026 was no exception.<\/p>\n
Last night, the organization\u2014with support from Max Mara<\/a>\u2014welcomed over 30 Oscar nominees, inviting each to say a few words on stage and take part in the annual class photo. Actors, producers, songwriters, makeup artists, and more gathered at Los Angeles\u2019s Wheelhouse\u2014the former villa of Oscar-winning actress Bette Davis\u2014for the occasion.<\/p>\n Actress in a Leading Role nominees Kate Hudson<\/a> (Song Sung Blue<\/em>) and Renate Reinsve (Sentimental Value<\/em>) were in attendance, along with Diane Warren (Best Original Song, \u201cDear Me\u201d), Tig Notaro (Best Documentary Feature, Come See Me in the Good Light<\/em>), and Alice Felton (Best Production Design, Hamnet<\/em>). Alicia Silverstone<\/a>, Jon Batiste, Lisa Ann Walter, Lisa Rinna, and more creatives also showed up to support. <\/p>\n \u201cSo many of us have spent a career\u2014or a lifetime\u2014fighting for a seat at a table that was never built with us in mind,\u201d WIF CEO Kirsten Scaffer shared last night. \u201cTonight, we celebrate.
