Call for artwork<\/strong><\/p>\nApril 24 is the deadline for artists to submit their work to the Fort Smith Regional Art Museum\u2019s\u00a0RAM Annual Invitational, on display June 27-Oct. 25 at the museum, 1601 Rogers Ave., Fort Smith.<\/p>\n
The 2026 theme is \u201cOur Common Ground,\u201d with a focus on artworks that build connections across boundaries, geographical or cultural, according to a news release. The exhibition juror will hand out cash prizes; the museum\u2019s executive director and Permanent Collection Committee will choose a museum purchase award. A People\u2019s Choice Award will be based on votes collected throughout the course of the exhibition and will be announced on social media when the exhibit closes.<\/p>\n
The museum will announce which entries have been accepted on May 15; artwork delivery dates are May 26-June 12. All works will be for sale; proceeds will benefit museum exhibits, educational programming and the participating artists.<\/p>\n
