Bill Maher<\/a> recently slammed President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2018s executive order to \u201crewrite history,\u201d and he did so with a list of hilarious fake updates.<\/p>\n During the Friday, March 13 episode<\/a> of Real Time With Bill Maher<\/a><\/em>, the late-night host, 70, brought up a directive from the POTUS, 79.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is the policy of the administration to restore federal sites dedicated to history to include parks and museums\u2026. to remind Americans of our extraordinary heritage,\u201d Maher read from the executive order<\/a>.<\/p>\n The stand-up comedian added, \u201cThis is my issue with so many things. The pendulum never stops in the middle. Have we whitewashed history somewhat? Yes, we have.\u201d<\/p>\n However, Maher also claimed that folks on the left \u201cdon\u2019t appreciate America enough.\u201d He said, \u201cThey don\u2019t have it in perspective. It\u2019s all, \u2018We did terrible things.\u2019 Well, we didn\u2019t just do terrible things.\u201d<\/p>\n Of Trump\u2019s executive order, he explained, \u201cBut Trump wants to whitewash all that,\u201d thus the move to \u201cscrub national park sites of signs that cast America in a negative light.\u201d<\/p>\n
