\t\t<\/p>\n Devastating news for Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/strong><\/a><\/em> fans.<\/p>\n On Saturday (March 14), Sarah Michelle Gellar<\/strong><\/a> took to her Instagram<\/a> to announced that the spinoff series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer: New Sunnydale<\/em><\/strong>, is not moving forward at Hulu<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/em> began as a 1992 film written by Joss Whedon<\/strong> before debuting as a TV series starring Sarah<\/strong>, now 48, in 1997.
