According to a new report from People.com and Sarah Michelle Gellar<\/a> herself, Hulu<\/a> has officially canceled their plans to do a rebooted version of the very popular late 90s and early 2000s show, “Buffy The Vampire Slayer<\/a>.” Apparently, Sarah Michelle Gellar who played the original Buffy role in the TV series version, hit up her official Instagram<\/a> account today, March 14, 2026, to break the sad news stating, “So, I am really sad to have to share this, but I wanted you all to hear it from me. Unfortunately, Hulu has decided not to move forward with Buffy: New Sunnydale.<\/div>\n
