\nThe Spice Girls star stopped by a rehearsal studio where Simon Cowell\u2019s latest boyband \u2013 comprised of Nicolas Alves, Cruz Lee-Ojo, Hendrik Christoffersen, John Fadare, Danny Bretherton, Josh Olliver, and Se\u00e1n Hayden – were working last month and gave them some advice on storming the charts.<\/p>\n
\nDanny told The Sun\u2019s Biz on Sunday: \u201cThe legend that is Geri Halliwell and her step-daughter came to the rehearsal studio to watch our set. They had wanted to come to our London show, but were due to be away when it was on, so we invited them to our rehearsals. Geri was like a pocket rocket. Petite and loads of personality. We couldn\u2019t believe we met a Spice Girl! She gave excellent advice, including to always enjoy the moment. Geri was super kind and gave us all a bag of gifts, including little speakers we always use on our phones.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nSean added: \u201cShe showed up to rehearsals before the show and gave us advice. She\u2019s really cool.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAnd Hendrik said: \u201cThe advice that she gave was, \u2018That laugh that you have in your band as a group – try and keep that laugh and enjoy it\u2019. That was the main advice that came across.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe band were formed on Cowell\u2019s Netflix reality series, Simon Cowell: The Next Act, last year and they revealed he was so proud of them after their sold-out show at the O2 Academy Islington, in North London, last month, which he attended with his fianc\u00e9e Lauren Silverman.<\/p>\n
\nNicolas said: \u201cHe really enjoyed that we incorporated instruments into the live show, and when he spoke to us, that was one of the main things that made him really happy and proud.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJohn added: \u201cHe has also always said that he just wants great songs. Over the past few months that we have been recording music, we have been working towards that.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe band recently released their single Angel and admitted their lives have changed considerably since the Netflix series.<\/p>\n
\nNicolas said: \u201cI wouldn\u2019t say it\u2019s overwhelming, it\u2019s more of a strange feeling, because the first show was a bit of a shock.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt is a feeling for me, personally, that I don\u2019t think I will get used to.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
