Eddie Burns is a Chicago native and the son of classical trumpet player Stephen Burns, who founded the Fulcrum Point New Music Project.<\/p>\n

Growing up in a musical family, Burns was reportedly inspired to learn the drums when he was just six years old \u2013 and has never looked back. He gradually found his way to playing drums for the R&B band The O\u2019My\u2019s and, through their management, started playing for American indie darling Clairo, who is known for her viral tracks like \u201cSofia\u201d and \u201cFlaming Hot Cheetos\u201d.<\/p>\n
