Disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was savagely snubbed on Mother\u2019s Day by his brother, King Charles, in a telling move.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The King and Queen took to the Firm\u2019s official X account to mark the annual celebration and shared three images with the message: \u201cWishing Mothers everywhere, and those who might be missing their Mums today, a restful Mothering Sunday.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The pictures included a picture of the late Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother and Camilla with her own mother, Rosalind Shand.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

But there was also a third picture with Elizabeth II, showing her with Charles and Princess Anne, as well as her corgi Sue.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The picture was taken in Balmoral on April 29, 1953.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Andrew, who has been stripped of his titles and honours, was notably absent from the family photo, as was Prince Edward, as they had not been born when the snap was taken.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Earlier, Prince William<\/a> marked Mother’s Day by sharing a photograph of him and the late Princess Diana.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The picture, posted online for the first time from the family’s private collection, shows Diana with a two-year-old William in a field of flowers, taken at the family’s main home at Highgrove, Gloucestershire, in 1984.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

William’s signed message, posted on social media site X, said: \u201cRemembering my mother, today and every day. Thinking of all those who are remembering someone they love today. Happy Mother’s Day. W\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Diana, who died aged 36 following a road accident in Paris on August 31 1997, would have turned 65 on July 1 this year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
