The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have delivered a scathing response to writer Tom Bower following the release of excerpts from his latest book about Britain\u2019s royal family, calling his work nothing more than wild theories and dramatic storytelling.<\/p>\n

The couple released a harsh statement Saturday, asserting that Bower \u201chas long crossed the line from criticism into fixation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Excerpts from Bower\u2019s new publication appeared in the Times of London Friday, where he made several explosive allegations. Among them, the writer claimed Queen Camilla reportedly told an acquaintance that Meghan had \u201cbrainwashed\u201d Prince Harry. Bower also suggested that Prince William and Catherine viewed Meghan \u201cas a threat rather than an ally\u201d during rising tensions before Harry and Meghan\u2019s departure from Britain to establish their life in America.<\/p>\n
