It\u2019s rare to find unseen photos of the late Princess Diana<\/a>, but today, Prince William<\/a> shared one from his own collection.<\/p>\n

Taking to Instagram today, on the United Kingdom\u2019s Mother\u2019s Day, the heir to the British throne honored his own mom with a never-before-seen image from his childhood. In the old photo, the two of them were captured in a field of flowers, with a young Diana sitting cross-legged as her toddler-aged son stood captivated by the nature around him. <\/p>\n

The princess had on one of her signature layered looks<\/a>\u2014a sweater, here pink, over a white button-down shirt and a pair of classic blue jeans. She wore a pendant necklace and a delicate watch, and her hair was brushed up in a feathery, voluminous bob. It was the mid-1980s, after all.<\/p>\n

The Prince and Princess of Wales have been booked and busy this week.
