His son, Hendrix Hart, has committed to the University of Tennessee to run track.<\/p>\n While Hart established himself as a modern king of comedy, Hendrix made his own lane in track and field. The celebrity son\u2019s talent spoke for itself, as the senior at the exclusive Sierra Canyon School in Calabasas, California, intends to grow his skill as a University of Tennessee Volunteer.<\/p>\n The proud dad announced the news on social media, boasting to his 176 million following about his son\u2019s accomplishment. Hendrix is known for the sprints, intending to run for Tennessee next season. <\/p>\n \u201cProud of you son\u2026. We all love you champ \u2026..\u201d<\/p>\n Hendrix is one of the two children shared by Hart and his first wife, Torrei Hart. Some of Hart\u2019s fellow famous fathers, such as Nelly and Lebron James, also congratulated their Hollywood \u201cnephew\u201d in the post.<\/p>\n \u201cYessir nephew,\u201d wrote James in the comments. <\/p>\n As for Tennessee, the Home of the Volunteers also expressed<\/a> their excitement on their upcoming freshman.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re building a great program here, and we think he\u2019ll contribute to that tremendously,\u201d Tennessee coach Duane Ross told ESPN<\/em>. \u201cThis is a humble young man that\u2019s just excited to get his path going, wants to be good and create his own thing.\u201d<\/p>\n The coach even remarked on the young Hart\u2019s willingness to work hard and prove himself. He shared how the high schooler was \u201cready to work\u201d to become one of the best in track. <\/p>\n \u201cWhat did it for me was this is just a good young man. He shook my hand and he told me how good he wanted to be, how he was ready to work. The first thing I told him was \u2018Hey, you come here, you\u2019re gonna have to earn it,\u2019 and he said \u2018Coach, I want to earn it,’\u201d added Ross.<\/p>\n Ross also noted how the similarities between him and the elder Hart.
