The reason why? He was caught in a copyright infringement scandal.<\/p>\n<p>In 2004, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that a screener of the film Something\u2019s Gotta Give had been illegally circulated and traced back to <strong>Caridi<\/strong>, an Academy voter.
