\u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d<\/a> went to the emergency room this week, dragging a satirized, shirtless Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/a> with them.<\/p>\n Harry Styles’s<\/a> March 14 hosting duties saw the singer as a Best Buy staffer, a European cruise host and a White Castle drive-thru employee. But one of the night\u2019s buzziest sketches was \u201cMAHAspital,\u201d a satire on Kennedy’s \u201cMake America Healthy Again\u201d<\/a> agenda in the style of hospital drama \u201cThe Pitt.\u201d<\/a> Styles played a Dr. Robby-esque<\/a> character.<\/p>\n In the fake promo \u201cfor people who love \u2018The Pitt\u2019 but can\u2019t stand its phony liberal science,\u201d cast members eyed raw milk IV drips and shelved ivermectin, suggesting treatments of \u201cmethylene blue and a full-moon ceremony.\u201d Rather than Tylenol or defibrillators, the emergency room staff pitched whey powder, red light therapy masks and \u201ca cold plunge in blue jeans.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIf your favorite character from \u2018The Pitt\u2019 was the guy who punched the nurse in the face, you\u2019ll love MAHAspital,\u201d a narrator advertises.<\/p>\n \u201cMAHAspital\u201d is a clear dig at the Health and Human Services secretary, whose recent federal actions<\/a> and stances include revised childhood vaccine guidance,<\/a> skepticism of psychiatric drugs<\/a> and a flipped food pyramid<\/a>.<\/p>\n As nurses triage an 80-year-old possible stroke victim, Styles\u2019s character throws in an alternate treatment: \u201cWhat she needs is a steak. She needs protein, people!\u201d<\/p>\n In another scene, a patient\u2019s \u201ctestosterone is crashing,\u201d leaving Ben Marshall\u2019s character to prescribe “bull semen.\u201d He later pulls the plug on a comatose patient after finding out they\u2019re vegan: \u201cWell, nothing we can do.”<\/p>\n The \u201cMAHAspital\u201d sketch, \u201ccoming soon to The Daily Wire,\u201d culminates in the de facto MAHA leader himself entering the hospital. James Austin Johnson\u2019s Kennedy is shirtless and veiny, wheeling in a dead bear in nothing but jeans. It\u2019s a reference to the true story of Kennedy hitting and killing a bear cub<\/a>, then loading it into his car with the intention to skin it and save the meat. But because he was running late for a dinner in the city, he instead staged the bear in Central Park to look like a biker had struck it.<\/p>\n \u201cPrep him!\u201d the satirized \u201cSNL\u201d Kennedy tells staff in \u201cMAHAspital.\u201d But not for surgery \u2013 for jerky. \u201cHe\u2019s been dead for days, but the meat\u2019s still good.\u201d<\/p>\n It’s not the first time “SNL” has mocked Kennedy. In Nov. 2024, Alec Baldwin swapped his storied impersonation of President Donald Trump<\/a> for Kennedy in a sketch about cabinet picks<\/a>.<\/p>\n “Americans need someone to teach them how to be healthy, someone like me: a 70-year-old man with movie-star looks and a worm in his brain,” Baldwin’s Kennedy said.
