SAN DIEGO (FOX 5\/KUSI) \u2014 A movie filmed in San Diego County is getting major attention ahead of a big night in Hollywood\u2019s entertainment industry.<\/p>\n
The film \u201cOne Battle After Another,\u201d starring Leonardo DiCaprio, is nominated for \u201cBest Picture\u201d at the 98th Academy Awards, which takes place Sunday. The Oscar-nominated film has a strong local connection, with several scenes filmed at locations within the region<\/a>.<\/p>\n Directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, the action-thriller follows a former revolutionary forced back into a dangerous conflict while being pursued by a corrupt military officer.
