Looking at the turn of events, a royal author, Tom Bower, has made a bombshell claim in his new book, \u201cBetrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family.\u201d In extracts of Bower\u2019s book published in The Times of London<\/a>, the author claimed that Queen Camilla once told a friend that, \u201cMeghan\u2019s brainwashed Harry.\u201d <\/p>\n

Bower also alleged that Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton \u201cevidently saw Meghan as a threat rather than an ally\u201d as tensions soared ahead of the Sussexes\u2019 decision to leave the royal family for a life in the US. The author even claimed that Meghan became a \u201cdivisive agent.\u201d<\/p>\n

But as per NBC News<\/a>, in a statement issued, Harry and Meghan said Bower \u201chas long crossed the line from criticism into fixation.\u201d \u201cThis is someone who has publicly stated, \u2018the monarchy in fact depends on actually obliterating the Sussexes from our state of life,\u2019 language that speaks for itself.\u201d <\/p>\n

The couple further added that the author has \u201cmade a career out of constructing ever more elaborate theories about people he does not know and has never met.\u201d \u201cThose interested in facts will look elsewhere; those seeking deranged conspiracy and melodrama know exactly where to find him,\u201d the statement read.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
