Wendi McLendon-Covey<\/strong> is holding on for one more day.<\/span><\/p>\n After the <\/span>Bridesmaids<\/span> actress missed out on a <\/span>reunion with costars<\/span><\/a> <\/span>Kristen Wiig<\/strong>, <\/span>Maya Rudolph<\/strong>, <\/span>Rose Byrne<\/strong><\/a>, <\/span>Melissa McCarthy <\/strong>and <\/span>Ellie Kemper<\/strong> at the <\/span>2026 Oscars<\/span><\/a>\u2014hosted by <\/span>Conan O\u2019Brien<\/strong><\/a> at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood March 15\u2014she clarified why she missed the hilarious moment.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI had a neck lift last week because I’m tired of looking like a melting candle,\u201d Wendi wrote on <\/span>Instagram<\/span><\/a> alongside a selfie in bed with a stretch band wrapped around her head. \u201cSo I had to skip the Academy Awards.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n And to quash any rumors of bad beef among the cast, the 56-year-old added, \u201cNo drama. Everything is fine.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Though Wendi had to skip the reunion, the rest of her stone-cold pack of weirdos had a blast sharing the stage together.<\/span><\/p>\n “We are so happy to all be here together tonight,” Kristen said from stage. \u201cI cannot believe that it’s been 15 years now. We are not good with numbers, but we figured it out backstage. That means we shot this movie in 1883.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
