Steven Knight has shared more details about his forthcoming Oasis<\/a> documentary, calling it \u201cphenomenal\u201d.<\/p>\n The Peaky Blinders<\/a><\/em> creator is producing the new doc, which will follow the Britpop giants\u2019 return<\/a> for their huge Live \u201925<\/em> reunion tour<\/a>.<\/p>\n It is created and produced by Knight, and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace \u2013 known for the LCD Soundsystem<\/a>\u00a0documentary\u00a0Shut Up And Play The Hits<\/em>.<\/p>\n According to reports,\u00a0the project will contain some \u201cphenomenal\u201d footage of Liam and Noel Gallagher\u2019s first meeting ahead of their comeback shows<\/a>.<\/p>\n Knight recently spoke to Project Big Screen <\/em><\/a>to promote his new film Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man<\/em><\/a>. During the interview, he shared a progress update on the Oasis Live \u201925<\/em> movie.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s phenomenal,\u201d Knight said. \u201cWe\u2019ve got it down to four hours, so we\u2019ve gotta get it down to [a shorter runtime].\u201d<\/p>\n He continued: \u201cBut it\u2019s a documentary with a plot, do you know what I mean? It\u2019s actually got a story. And then we\u2019ve expanded it\u2026 you\u2019ll see when you see it.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s been great, and they\u2019re great. I interviewed [the Gallagher brothers], and they\u2019re just one quote after another. They\u2019re just so funny.\u201d<\/p>\n You can see a clip of the conversation in the post above.<\/p>\n Noel Gallagher recently spoke about the documentary<\/a>, too, saying: \u201cI\u2019ve only seen a tiny little bit of it and it\u2019s difficult to have an opinion on it because I\u2019m only looking at little snippets.<\/p>\n \u201cEveryone who has seen it, or seen more of it than I have, has said that it\u2019s amazing. If it even captures five per cent of what that tour was, it\u2019ll be astonishing. Looking forward to it.\u201d<\/p>\n Noel explained: \u201cThe gigs were amazing, particularly the ones in Manchester, and I\u2019m kind of lost for words for it, really. The gigs spoke for themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n For the film, Knight\u2019s crew were allowed access to the meetings and rehearsal rooms that preceded Oasis historic reunion last summer. Sources previously claimed that Oasis fans would be \u201cspellbound\u201d by watching the brothers work through their feud<\/a>.<\/p>\n Last month, Noel revealed he was back in the recording studio<\/a>. However, it is currently not known whether this was for new Oasis music or something else. The musician had said earlier that he was \u201cback at work\u201d<\/a> following his Christmas break.<\/p>\n\n
