\n\tSouth Carolina rapper Trap Dickey<\/a> has signed to Top Dawg Entertainment<\/a>, joining a roster that includes SZA, Schoolboy Q and Doechii.<\/p>\n \n\tThe signing, announced exclusively on Variety<\/em>, was made in partnership with 11 Music Group LLC. It comes in the wake of a series of highlights over the past year for the emcee, including an appearance with Kai Cenat on his \u201cMafiathon 3\u201d livestream, a breakout \u201cOn the Radar\u201d freestyle, and, most recently, the single \u201cDown South\u201d with Key Glock that he released in January.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cTrap Dickey has a real story that comes straight from his life,\u201d says Anthony \u201cTop Dawg\u201d Tiffith, founder and CEO of Top Dawg Entertainment. \u201cThat kind of authenticity is exactly what we look for at TDE. That experience inspired him to pursue music professionally, and he scored his breakthrough with the 2023 song \u201cBlue Devils\u201d and its remix featuring DaBaby. In the time since, he\u2019s released a string of singles including \u201cYeah Yeah\u201d featuring Boosie Badazz and \u201cNo Love\u201d featuring BigXthaPlug.<\/p>\n
