\u201cDaily Show\u201d host Jon Stewart ripped President Donald Trump<\/a> on Monday night\u2019s show for his ever-changing narrative surrounding the war in Iran using an \u201cexpert panel\u201d of talking heads. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cPlease welcome to the program, President Donald Trump<\/a>, Donald J. Trump, DJT and John Barron,\u201d Stewart said while featuring a \u201cpanel\u201d of various clips of the president under different names.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Stewart asked the \u201cpanel\u201d to clear up any confusion about whether the United States is, in fact, at war with Iran, then played various clips of Trump contradicting himself. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cThis was just an excursion into something that had to be done,\u201d Donald J. Trump said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cThis is an excursion, a little excursion, and I think it\u2019s only that,\u201d President Donald Trump said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cWe\u2019re winning the war by a lot,\u201d Trump\u2019s alter ego John Barron said. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cSo it\u2019s a war?\u201d Stewart asked. \u201cBecause earlier we heard President Trump and Donald Trump say it\u2019s an excursion, not a war.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cIt\u2019s both, it\u2019s an excursion that will keep us out of a war,\u201d DJT said. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cAlright, DJT, it\u2019s both a war and an excursion that will stop the war that it isn\u2019t,\u201d an exasperated Stewart replied. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n The \u201cDaily Show\u201d host used the same bit to hit on a number of other contradictions Trump has landed himself in over the course of the now three-week war, including how long the conflict will last and the war\u2019s objectives. Stewart then interrupted the \u201cpanel\u201d to hear from \u201cDon from Palm Beach,\u201d where Trump said the war will end \u201cwhen I feel it in my bones.\u201d <\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n Stewart ended the bit by giving a heartfelt speech about the costs of war and the great decisions that fall on the shoulders of world leaders \u2013 then showed clips of the Trump \u201cpanel\u201d falling asleep, one by one. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n See more in his Monday night \u201cDaily Show\u201d monologue:<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
