Peter Frampton<\/a> is set to return with his first full-length album of new songs since 2010\u2019s Thank You Mr. Churchill<\/em>. Carry The Light<\/em> will be released on May 15<\/a> and features 10 tunes co-written and co-produced by the British guitar great and his son Julian.<\/p>\n The album features guest appearances by a variety of well-known artists. I got to work with my son Julian\u2014writing and producing together. A first of many for us I\u2019m sure.\u201d<\/p>\n A new track from the album titled \u201cBuried Treasure\u201d has been released as an advance digital single. The song pays tribute to the late Tom Petty and his SiriusXM satellite radio show of the same name. The tune\u2019s lyrics showcase the titles of many Petty songs. The track appropriately features Tench, whom Frampton personally invited to take part in the recording.<\/p>\n Frampton introduced \u201cBuried Treasure\u201d during his 2025 tour, playing the song about a dozen times in concert.<\/p>\n You can pre-order<\/a> Carry The Light<\/em> now. A limited-edition vinyl version, which will feature a high-quality cover treatment and be numbered, will be sold exclusively via Frampton\u2019s official store<\/a>, uDiscover Music and Sound of Vinyl.<\/p>\n According to a press release, the \u201cdeeply personal\u201d songs on Carry The Light offer \u201ca reflection of [Frampton\u2019s] present, rooted in the challenges, changes and connections that <\/em>have defined recent years.\u201d Regarding the album\u2019s title, \u201cthe light represents wisdom, something to be carried forward.\u201d<\/p>\n Carry The Light<\/em> engineer and co-producer Chuck Ainlay noted in a statement, \u201cThis may be the best album Peter\u2019s ever made.
