Meghan Markle<\/a> would randomly \u201cdisappear\u201d during meetings with Netflix in what\u2019s been described as a \u201cchildish reaction\u201d from her and allegedly had \u201codd methods\u201d of providing feedback to the streamer, a scathing new report has claimed<\/a>. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex struck a deal with Netflix in 2020 when they quit the Royal Family.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n However, last year the streaming giant downgraded its deal to a \u201cfirst-look\u201d one, which is vastly different from its first lucrative one, reportedly worth around \u00a375million. A new bombshell cover story by US outlet Variety<\/a> brings fresh insight into the Sussexes\u2019 partnership with Netflix.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n It alleges that three sources claimed that Meghan had \u201codd methods of providing feedback\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n She would first \u201cdisappear\u201d for long periods during Zoom calls and later Netflix teams, like the marketing department, would be informed that her absence was \u201cdue to her being offended by something that was said\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Meghan\u2019s lawyer, Michael J. Kump, dismissed the claims and told the outlet that the Duchess \u201cworks from home, is the mother of young children aged 4 and 6, and often encounters (as many parents who work from home do) children who enter the space unexpectedly during a meeting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cIndependent of being a parent who works from home, Meghan is also conscious of shielding her team from the distraction of children.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cNearly all professionals can attest to needing to turn off the audio or camera during a virtual meeting at some point during many hours of virtual business calls.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
