Lorain singer-songwriter Jaclyn Bradley is releasing her newest song \u201cChicago\u201d on March 20, according to a news release.<\/p>\n
Bradley is director of Rock Town Music Academy, a music school located on Broadway in downtown Lorain, where she teaches voice and has created a space for other working musicians to instruct students on piano, guitar, drum and strings.<\/p>\n
Accompanying the release of Bradley\u2019s new song will be an animated music video crafted by visual artist Brooke Archer.<\/p>\n The music video combines animation with real footage of the city of Chicago.<\/p>\n \u201cCollaborating with other artists is one of the greatest aspects of working in music,\u201d says Bradley.\u201d It is always a privilege to learn from and combine forces with other creative people.\u201d<\/p>\n Another artist featured on \u201cChicago\u201d is Lorain County cellist Jordan Alegant, who is a graduate of Berklee School of Music in Boston and teaches cello, guitar, bass and recording arts at Rock Town Music Academy.<\/p>\n \u201cThe track resonated with me on first listen,\u201d Alegant said in the release. \u201cI was really able to dive into it and create a complimentary cello part that helped tell the story.\u201d<\/p>\n Another collaborator is Derek Connell, also of Lorain, who served as cowriter.<\/p>\n The song was recorded in Nashville by Austin Moorhead, a Yale graduate who also has worked with Maddie and Tae, and Carly Pearce.<\/p>\n \u201cChicago\u201d and its accompanying music video highlight a woman\u2019s journey from uncertainty to happiness, according to the release.<\/p>\n The majority of the song was written by Bradley years ago during a time of change in her own life, the release said.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is my hope that this song and music video will bring comfort and hope to anyone facing transition or incertitude, Bradley said in the release. \u201cBy following the joy, serving others and believing in a better tomorrow, one is sure to find beauty on the other side.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cChicago\u201d can be streamed anywhere you listen to music and the music video can be found on YouTube.<\/p>\n Bradley and her music can be followed on Instagram at @iamjaclynbradley.<\/p>\n The link to the music video can be found at https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yR88unLmUSk and on\u00a0Instagram at https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/iamjaclynbradley\/.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n![\"Artwork](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.morningjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/MJE-L-JACLYNSINGLE-0319-01.jpg?fit=620%2C9999px&ssl=1\")
