The late singer, who died in 2023 at 83, is forever etched in music history<\/a> and widely recognized as the \u201cqueen of rock \u2018n\u2019 roll.\u201d She was also a 12-time Grammy Award winner and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice.<\/p>\n Two years before her passing, she decided to sell her recordings, music publishing, and name and likeness rights to BMG. The deal was reportedly valued at $50 million, according to Variety. Variety reports Sweden-based Pophouse Entertainment has acquired a majority stake in her catalog.<\/a> The company states it will be focused on \u201clong-term stewardship\u201d. It will \u201ccontribute creative ideas that respect and laud Tina Turner\u2019s artistry,\u201d to ensure her legacy lives on and is amplified.<\/p>\n \u201cI am thrilled to welcome Tina Turner\u2019s iconic catalogue to the Pophouse family.
