Spotify has rolled out a new feature called Exclusive Mode for its Windows desktop app, giving Premium subscribers access to bit-perfect audio playback for the first time. The update, which went live on Tuesday, hands Spotify complete control over your PC’s audio hardware\u2014cutting out the Windows system mixer entirely so your music arrives exactly as it was mastered at 24-bit\/44.1 kHz FLAC.Without it, Windows quietly gets in the way.
