The first look at Martin Scorsese<\/a>\u2019s new movie, titled What Happens at Night<\/a><\/strong>, has been unveiled.<\/p>\n What Happens at Night comes from Apple Original Films<\/a>. Directed by Scorsese and written by Patrick Marber, the movie is based on a novel of the same name by Peter Cameron. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio<\/a>, Jennifer Lawrence<\/a>, and more.<\/p>\n The official Apple TV Twitter<\/a> account has shared the first image from What Happens at Night, which features DiCaprio and Lawrence\u2019s characters. The image also comes with the announcement that the movie has now officially begun production.<\/p>\n Check out the first-look image below:<\/p>\n What Happens at Night: Martin Scorsese & Leonardo DiCaprio Movie Gets First Look Image<\/p>\n<\/div>\n In addition to DiCaprio and Lawrence, the cast of What Happens at Night includes Patricia Clarkson<\/a> (Six Feet Under), Jared Harris<\/a> (Mad Men), Mads Mikkelsen<\/a> (Doctor Strange), and Welker White<\/a> (The Wolf of Wall Street). Scorsese is producing the movie, which is made in partnership with Apple Studios<\/a> and Studiocanal<\/a>, for Sikelia Productions.<\/p>\n A description of the novel reads, \u201cAn unnamed American couple travels to a strange, snowy European city to adopt a baby. It\u2019s a difficult journey that leaves the wife, who is struggling with cancer, desperately weak, and her husband worries that her illness will prevent the orphanage from releasing their child.<\/p>\n \u201cOn arrival, the couple checks into the cavernous and eerily deserted Borgarfjaroasysla Grand Imperial Hotel where the bar is always open and the lobby populated with an enigmatic cast of characters ranging from an ancient, flamboyant chanteuse to a debauched businessman to an enigmatic faith healer.
