Brand new day, brand new trailer record. Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/a> has easily become the biggest trailer of all time in 24 hours, according to Sony<\/a>. The studio says the trailer reached 718.6 million views since launching on Wednesday, citing the market research firm WaveMetrix.<\/p>\n

It took just eight hours to top Deadpool<\/a> & Wolverine<\/a>\u2018s 365 million views from two years ago. (That number also included the 100-plus million who watched the Super Bowl on TV.) For comparison\u2019s sake, the first trailer for 2021\u2019s Spider-Man: No Way Home<\/a> reached 355.5 million views in its first 24 hours. It went on to become the highest grossing film in Sony history with $1.9 billion globally. Avengers: Doomsday<\/a>\u2018s recent quartet of trailers topped 1 billion combined views, though that was cumulative over time, not just 24 hours.<\/p>\n
