California rock veterans PAPA ROACH<\/b> have released the official Hannah Gray Hall<\/b>-directed music video for their powerful new single, “Wake Up Calling”<\/b>. The track, which was made available in late January via New Noize Records<\/b>\/ADA<\/b>, following in the footsteps of “Scars”<\/b> and “Leave A Light On (Talk Away The Dark)” <\/b>, shows the more melodic, emotionally vulnerable side of their songwriting, but still retains the intensity and honesty that have defined their career for over two decades.<\/p>\n
“Wake Up Calling”<\/b> debuted at a surprise performance in Nashville to an audience of artists and industry-folk at the Whiskey Jam on Broadway two months ago. It was produced by Colin Brittain<\/b> (LINKIN PARK<\/b>, ALL TIME LOW<\/b>, A DAY TO REMEMBER<\/b>) and explores themes of connection, self-reckoning, and emotional dependence.<\/p>\n
PAPA ROACH<\/b> frontman Jacoby Shaddix<\/b> commented: “‘Wake Up Calling’<\/b> is a song about standing on the edge of disaster \u2014 being pulled back from the brink, and ultimately choosing love over self-destruction. It’s one of the most raw, emotional songs we’ve written.”<\/p>\n
The release follows PAPA ROACH<\/b>‘s successes of 2025 with “Even If It Kills Me”<\/b> and “Braindead”<\/b> (featuring Toby Morse<\/b>),and career\u2013best touring results, performing to over one million fans on the band’s “Rise Of The Roach”<\/b> tour.<\/p>\n
Always philanthropic, PAPA ROACH<\/b> presented Campaign Against Living Miserably<\/b> with a \u00a320,000 cheque at their sold-out headline show at Wembley Arena from funds raised during their U.K. tour last year.<\/p>\n
Last August, PAPA ROACH<\/b> released the official music video for “Braindead”<\/b>, featuring Toby Morse<\/b>, frontman of H2O<\/b>. The clip was directed by Jesse Davey<\/b> and Ed Shiers<\/b> and produced by Joanna DeLane<\/b> of Proper Pictures<\/b>.<\/p>\n
In July 2025, PAPA ROACH<\/b> released a music video for an acoustic version of “Even If It Kills Me”<\/b>. The original single reached No. 1 at U.S. Rock Radio, marking PAPA ROACH<\/b>‘s 13th appearance at the top of the charts.<\/p>\n
In March 2025, PAPA ROACH<\/b> released a “reimagined” version of “Even If It Kills Me”<\/b>. The band and Joshua Landry<\/b> again produced the track. “Even If It Kills Me (Reimagined)”<\/b> was a fresh take on its heavier counterpart, showcasing the hit song in a new light, with a melodic arrangement and signature vocals delivered by Shaddix<\/b>.<\/p>\n
PAPA ROACH<\/b> are two-time Grammy<\/b>-nominated, platinum-selling leaders in alternative hard rock music. PAPA ROACH<\/b> are not unfamiliar with calling attention to mental health and have been doing so since the seminal release of their first hit single “Last Resort”<\/b>. Since then, the band has gone on to create 10 studio albums, including “Ego Trip”<\/b>.<\/p>\n
