Olivia Rodrigo<\/a> appears to be on the precipice of announcing a new album. Earlier this week, painted walls with her initials<\/a> were spotted in cities worldwide, and now, details of the project have been revealed in a recent interview with British Vogue<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n At the time of Rodrigo\u2019s sitdown with writer Amel Mukhtar \u2014 which appears to have been conducted last fall \u2014 the pop star was \u201c70% done\u201d with recording the album, with two or three songs still to go. She played three tracks from the LP, explaining that it has \u201cLondon vibes\u201d due to her recording in the city and drawing from her experiences there. It\u00a0was inspired by Miranda and Steve\u2019s relationship in Sex and the City<\/em> \u2014 specifically by Rodrigo\u2019s desire to also tell her partner \u201cwhenever something funny happens.\u201d<\/p>\n Finally, the third track is about realizing that \u201clove won\u2019t fix you\u201d and finds Rodrigo at her \u201cmost experimental,\u201d with an orchestral ending, according to Mukhtar.<\/p>\n \u201cYou\u2019re getting to the core of all of your issues: how you feel about yourself, your insecurities, what makes you joyful,\u201d Rodrigo said about the song, which describes the feeling of being in love. \u201cIt feels like the most raw form of you, which is so scary and terrifying and uncomfortable, sometimes, but beautiful at times.\u201d<\/p>\n As flagged by fan account Olivia Rodrigo Daily<\/a>, promotion for the singer\u2019s next album was spotted in Los Angeles, Berlin, Sydney, Paris, Bangkok, Warsaw, and Toronto earlier this week.
