\n\tEXCLUSIVE:<\/strong> After more than a decade at Good Fear Content, a company he joined at its inception, lit manager Scott Stoops<\/a> has moved over to Kaplan\/Perrone Entertainment<\/a>, Deadline has learned.<\/p>\n \n\tElevated to Partner at Good Fear in 2023, Stoops came to the company after serving as an assistant at its previous iteration, Benderspink. He\u2019s the second to exit Good Fear in recent months, following producer and manager Jake Weiner, who left to launch his own management and production company, Harvest Hill Entertainment, after 25 years alongside producer Chris Bender.<\/p>\n \n\tIn a statement to Deadline, Stoops said, \u201cI\u2019m deeply grateful for the 11 years I spent at Good Fear Content, and I am incredibly excited to begin the next chapter of my career at Kaplan\/Perrone Entertainment, where I can contribute to the growth of our clients with such a dynamic and well-respected group of managers.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe Kaplan\/Perrone partners praised Stoops for his \u201cphenomenal taste,\u201d \u201cimpeccable reputation,\u201d and \u201cpassion for representing truly talented artists,\u201d saying, \u201cWe\u2019re extremely excited to welcome him to KPE.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tStoops got his start at Paradigm, where he segued from an assistant in the below-the-line department to an MP Lit group Agent Trainee.<\/p>\n \n\tAmong the clients joining him at Kaplan\/Perrone is Kirill Sokolov, the director of New Line\u2019s genre-bender They Will Kill You<\/em>, which is coming off its SXSW premiere and releases in theaters on March 27.
