She is currently exploring all of her options, seeking support, and preparing to own and share her story.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Page Six confirmed Thursday that the network pulled the plug on Season 22 of the dating show after <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/03\/19\/celebrity-news\/taylor-frankie-paul-attacks-dakota-mortensen-with-chair-in-front-of-daughter-video\/\">footage of an alleged domestic violence incident<\/a> between Paul and her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen was leaked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of \u2018The Bachelorette\u2019 at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,\u201d the network told Page Six in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>In the disturbing video from 2023, Paul can be seen throwing chairs at Mortensen and attempting to put him in a headlock \u2014 all while her daughter Indy, who was 5 at the time, was present in the room.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The statement continued to say that Paul has been \u201csilently suffering extensive mental and physical abuse\u201d from her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen (pictured here in happier times). <span class=\"credit\">TikTok\/@dakotamortensen<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cTaylor is finally gaining the strength to face her accuser and taking steps to ensure that she and her children are protected from any further harm.\u201d <span class=\"credit\">Instagram \/ @taylorfrankiepaul<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The child could then be heard crying after seemingly being struck, and Mortensen later claimed, \u201cYour daughter just got hit in the head with a metal chair.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Paul later alleged to police that Mortensen threw her on the ground before he began filming her with his cell phone.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, a spokesperson for Paul slammed the release of the \u201cselectively edited\u201d video, \u201cwhich conveniently omits context,\u201d dubbing it part of Mortensen\u2019s \u201cnever-ending, desperate, attention-seeking, destructive campaign to harm Taylor without any regard for the consequences for their child.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mortenson, who shares a 2-year-old son, Ever, with Paul, said in his own statement, \u201cAs anyone who has seen the video will understand, this is a <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/03\/19\/celebrity-news\/dakota-mortensen-denies-taylor-frankie-pauls-deeply-upsetting-claims-after-violent-video-surfaces\/\">deeply upsetting situation<\/a>.\u00a0 I am, unfortunately, used to these baseless claims about me and our relationship, which I categorically deny.
