Ana Cabrera<\/a>, MS NOW<\/a>\u2019s 10 a.m. anchor, announced Wednesday she is leaving the news network amid a massive shakeup.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n She indicated the choice was her own in a video posted to X.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI\u2019ve decided to make a change, and I am leaving MS NOW,\u201d she said. \u201cThroughout my career, I\u2019ve always sought the best opportunities to do this work and have the greatest impact while staying true to myself and my mission as a journalist. My goal has always been to educate and inform and shine light, to hold people in power accountable, people on all sides of the political aisle and non politicians as well, to be a government watchdog, to bring you compelling stories from across a broad range of news and to always seek the truth, following the facts wherever they lead. That\u2019s what I\u2019ve always done, and what I will continue to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Cabrera joined MS NOW (formerly MSNBC) in 2023 from celebrity.land<\/a>. Her departure highlighted several changes at the left-leaning outlet, which recently spun off from Comcast (and NBC News).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The station has seen an uptick in ratings with more opinion programming in prime time since the November rebrand, and more is in store in the daytime as well, the Los Angeles Times reported<\/a> on Wednesday. However, MS NOW President Rebecca Kutler emphasized that daytime programming will remain \u201crooted in hard news.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Among the changes reported by Variety<\/a>, \u201cThe 11th Hour\u201d host Stephanie Ruhle will move to a two-hour program starting at 9 a.m. She will be replaced on \u201c11th Hour\u201d by Ali Velshi. \u201cMorning Joe\u201d is cutting back an hour to make room for Ruhle, and Chris Hayes<\/a>\u2019 \u201cAll In\u201d is returning to Mondays.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
