Justin Bieber and former mentor Usher \u2014 both former prot\u00e9g\u00e9s of Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs \u2014 reportedly got into a \u201cheated exchange\u201d when the Grammy winners<\/a> were at Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s Oscars<\/a> after-party this past weekend.<\/p>\n Insiders linked to \u201cSorry\u201d crooner Bieber<\/a>, 32, told TMZ that 47-year-old Usher was aggravated when he approached his former mentee<\/a> with a certain \u201cenergy.\u201d Bieber,<\/a> though, reportedly has a history of being rude to the \u201cYeah!\u201d singer, with sources telling the outlet The Biebs has been making an effort to \u201cerase everyone in his past.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n Though sources deny chatter that the confrontation got physical, they confirmed to the outlet that the pair of singers \u2014 last seen together in 2022 \u2014 had a brief, albeit \u201cheated exchange.\u201d<\/p>\n In October 2024, shortly after Combs, 56, was arrested for sexual abuse, sex trafficking and racketeering<\/a>, there were reports of a sex tape featuring the mogul and a younger male celebrity<\/a>.<\/p>\n Many at the time believed the younger party to be either Bieber or Usher<\/a>, both of whom were previously mentored<\/a> by Combs.<\/p>\n At the time, insiders told Us Weekly that Bieber was \u201ccompletely disgusted\u201d by the allegations<\/a> and that his association to Diddy was \u201cin his past, and that\u2019s where he wants to leave it.\u201d<\/p>\n Bad Boy Records founder Diddy was convicted last year of transportation for prostitution and is expected to be freed from New Jersey\u2019s Fort Dix federal correctional institute<\/a> on April 25, 2028.<\/p>\n It\u2019s unclear, though, whether any authorities were called to last weekend\u2019s party \u2014 where Bieber\u2019s wife Hailey was also in attendance.<\/p>\n Beyonc\u00e9 and husband Jay-Z\u2019s Academy Awards<\/a> after-party is one of the most exclusive of the post-Oscars bashes. This year\u2019s event was attended by newly minted Academy Award winners Michael B. Jordan<\/a> and his \u201cSinners\u201d director Ryan Coogler<\/a>, as well as nominees Teyana Taylor, Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet, Jacob Elordi and Emma Stone.<\/p>\n
