Award-winning songwriter Cosy Sheridan<\/a> is scheduled to perform at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 10, at the Parish Center for the Arts<\/a> in Westford, according to a community announcement.<\/p>\n\n

Sheridan, described as “one of the era’s finest and most thoughtful songwriters,” has a diverse repertoire that includes ragtime guitar, social satire and modern renditions of mythology, according to the announcement. Her music regularly tops folk radio charts, and her CD “Pretty Bird” was listed among Sing Out Magazine\u2019s Great CDs of 2014<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Charlie Koch, Sheridan\u2019s husband and musical partner, will join her on stage. He began learning guitar at age 11 and has taught bass and guitar classes at Puget Sound Guitar Workshop and Moab Folk Camp, according to the announcement.<\/p>\n
