Jackson Dean\u2019s fianc\u00e9e, Shannon Miscoll, is his co-star in the music video for his new track, \u201cHey Mississippi.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n The latest cut from his forthcoming Magnolia Sage<\/em> album, \u201cHey Mississippi\u201d fits squarely in the Magnolia half of the record, which deals with the Southeast and the East Coast, while the Sage sections are centered in the West.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cHey Mississippi\u201d finds Jackson infatuated with a girl from the Magnolia State.<\/p>\n \u201cI threw the title out and [producer] Luke [Dick] sang the first line, then I sang, \u2018Mississippi, hey,\u2019\u201d Jackson says. \u201cI thought about nursery rhymes like \u2018Ten Tiny Turtles\u2019 and \u2018Fr\u00e8re Jacques\u2019 that my mom used to sing to us \u2013 the repetition and alliteration. I loved the simplicity and wanted to replicate that with this song.\u201d<\/p>\n His third studio album is set to arrive April 24.<\/p>\n Jackson\u2019s wife-to-be also appears in his recent \u201cWildfire\u201d video<\/a>. The two got engaged in January.\u00a0<\/p>\n
