Christina Applegate<\/strong><\/a> has death on her mind as she continues to battle multiple sclerosis.<\/p>\n

Applegate appeared on the Thursday, March 19, episode of NPR\u2019s \u201cWild Card With Rachel Martin\u201d<\/a> podcast and shared that she thinks about her death \u201cevery day.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s looming,\u201d the actress, 54, told Martin. \u201cI mean, it looms for all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Applegate added that her condition is a factor in why she frequently ponders her death.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut for people who have a disease like this, you never know, you know?\u201d she reflected. \u201cI bought my plots already, OK? I bought them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Applegate explained that she purchased a final resting place for herself and two others.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s going to be three of us there. But I did,\u201d she said. \u201cMy friend and I are going to go take a picnic there. It\u2019s really pretty where it is.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Applegate did not reveal where she is going to be buried, she shared what else she has planned for the spot.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have to pick my tree out \u2019cause they\u2019re going to plant a tree there \u2019cause it\u2019s really sunny,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd I want my visitors to not be sweating.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tChristina Applegate is getting candid about her mental health. On the Tuesday, June 18, episode of her \u201cMeSsy\u201d podcast with Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Applegate addressed public concern over recent comments she made that she doesn\u2019t \u201cenjoy living\u201d amid her multiple sclerosis diagnosis. \u201cI don\u2019t enjoy living,\u201d Applegate, 52, said on the June 4 episode of the [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Applegate\u2019s decision to buy the burial plots came about because the spot she wanted was available, so she jumped at the chance.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been thinking about this particular area of this particular place for so long. And I finally was like, \u2018Is this available?\u2019\u201d she recalled. \u201cThey\u2019re like, \u2018Yes, it is.\u2019 I was like, \u2018Oh, my God, buying it now.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Applegate added that she took care of the purchase because she did not want to burden her loved ones with arranging the details.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust buy it now. That way, nobody has to deal with it,\u201d she said.\u201d<\/p>\n

Applegate revealed that she was diagnosed with MS in 2021. The disease affects the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves, per the National MS Society. Symptoms may include numbness, tingling, pain, fatigue, memory problems, mood changes, blindness and paralysis.<\/p>\n
