Weezer<\/a> have shared a teaser \u2014 a teezer, if you will \u2014 featuring new music slated to arrive next Thursday (March 26).<\/p>\n The band shared a video on social media, featuring a brief clip of the signature riff from “Buddy Holly,” followed by a snippet that appears to be of a new song. The rockin’ tune features frontman Rivers Cuomo singing the line, “The sun inside will shine \/ Shine again” \u2014 something that echoes the band’s previous hint<\/a> posted on February 13, when they wrote, “Weezer will shine again soon, way more =w= is coming in 2026.”<\/p>\n Cuomo has been periodically sharing updates about Weezer’s upcoming 20th album via his Discord server. He has suggested that it will be another in the band’s series of self-titled colour albums.
