But it wasn\u2019t just any tournament. According to the Gorgas, their 18-year-old was competing in the state championships! And as any sports parent knows, that\u2019s pretty much the pinnacle of competition.<\/p>\n This isn\u2019t the first time the Bravolebrity has posted about her son\u2019s absolutely amazing athletic accomplishments. Last January, Gorga and hubby Joe<\/strong> congratulated their eldest son on placing first in Bergen County (wrestling). Along with a carousel of video clips and photos of the high school senior, Melissa wrote, \u201cGino! Bergen County WINNER 1st place 175 lbs. Beyond proud of you!! You have heart and it\u2019s all about heart! You want it and you work for it!\u201d She went on to give her kiddo props for his dedication to the sport, \u201cYou train hard, up in the morning before I am jogging! That\u2019s why I love watching you since you were a little boy working hard to be an athlete!\u201d<\/p>\n In the recent post, the Gorgas continued showering their wrestler with well-deserved praise, \u201cWatching our son wrestle here in the State championships fills me with more pride than I can put into words. Winning or losing doesn\u2019t define this moment\u2014the fact that he worked hard enough, sacrificed enough and believed in himself enough to make it this far is what truly matters.\u201d<\/p>\n The overjoyed reality TV celebs also explained how the sport has helped their son, \u201cWrestling builds something different in a person. That person already knows how to work hard, overcome adversity, and never quit.\u201d<\/p>\n Eighteen-year-old Gino is a high school senior and (obviously) top-notch wrestler. But he isn\u2019t the Gorga\u2019s only child. All three of the couple\u2019s kids have made brief appearances on Bravo’s Real Housewives of New Jersey<\/a>. Melissa\u2019s oldest child is Antonia<\/strong>, a student at the University of Delaware, and her youngest is Joey Jr. <\/strong>(15), a high school sophomore.<\/p>\n Yes! While it\u2019s clear that wrestling is a priority, Gino is also a star football player. Several months ago, Melissa posted a childhood photo of her son holding a football helmet on Instagram with the words, \u201cThis was his very first day of football. He was so excited to get his equipment. He was just six years old.
