Kendra Duggar<\/strong><\/a> is now facing criminal charges alongside her husband, Joseph Duggar<\/strong><\/a>, after his child molestation arrest.<\/p>\n

The Washington County Sheriff\u2019s Office confirmed to Us Weekly<\/em> on Friday, March 20, that Kendra, 27, was arrested and booked amid an ongoing investigation. She was later released after paying her bond, which was set at $1470.<\/p>\n

According to a Friday press release<\/a> from the Tontitown police Department in Arkansas, Joseph, 31, and Kendra are facing four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, second degree and four counts of second degree false imprisonment.<\/p>\n

No additional details were provided as the investigation remains \u201cactive and ongoing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joseph was arrested<\/a> on Thursday, March 19, on charges of lewd and lascivious behavior involving molestation of a victim less than 12 years old and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 years or older.<\/p>\n

According to a police report, Joseph was accused of molesting an unidentified victim when she was 9-years-old during a 2020 vacation to Panama City Beach, Florida. The victim, who is now 14, participated in a forensic interview with authorities.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe victim reported Duggar repeatedly asked her to sit on his lap,\u201d Bay City police said in a statement on Thursday. \u201cAs the vacation continued, he also asked her to sit next to him on a couch and covered them with a blanket. During this time, Duggar manipulated the victim\u2019s underwear and grazed her genitals. Duggar would also continue to rub his hands on her thighs.\u201d<\/p>\n

The victim told authorities that Joseph stopped and \u201ceventually apologized for his actions.\u201d The victim\u2019s father allegedly confronted Joseph about the incidents earlier this month and the 19 Kids and Counting alum \u201cadmitted his actions to the victim\u2019s father and to Tontitown Detectives,\u201d per the police.<\/p>\n
