\n\tTokischa <\/a>shaved her head in front of a live audience at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday (March 21).<\/p>\n \n\tThe Dominican artist \u2014 who\u2019s yet to unveil a debut album, but has a number of entries on Hot Latin Songs as a lead artist and collaborator and on March 19 just released a new single, \u201cSurfboard\u201d \u2014 made the hair transformation during her opening set on FKA Twigs\u2019 2026 Body High Tour; she\u2019s on night two out of a six-show run as Twigs\u2019 supporting act. (Brutalismus 3000 and Eartheater will join the bill for the concert trek\u2019s remaining U.S. dates.)<\/p>\n \n\tBillboard<\/em> captured Tokischa\u2019s bold moment at Madison Square Garden on video \u2014 see it below.<\/p>\n \n\tTokischa\u2019s forthcoming LP is called Amor & Droga<\/em>. Its release date has not been confirmed.<\/p>\n \n\tIn August, she told Billboard<\/em><\/a>, \u201cThis album really tells a very special story for me, a very difficult time in my life that shaped me and brought me to where I am now. It\u2019s like a diary where I recount certain experiences that I\u2019ve never talked about before. I feel like this was the best concept for a debut album \u2014 where I can let it all out.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tFresh single \u201cSurfboard,\u201d expected to be featured on Amor & Droga<\/em>, was produced by Skrillex. Tokischa dropped a music video for the track this week, after debuting the song live earlier this month. Fans catching her perform on FKA Twigs\u2019 tour have been among some of the first to get to hear it in concert.<\/p>\n \t
