Chappell Roan<\/a> took to Instagram to give her \u201chalf of the story\u201d on Sunday after Brazilian<\/a> soccer star Jorginho accused one of Roan\u2019s security guards of leaving his stepdaughter \u201cextremely shaken\u201d and \u201cin tears\u201d following a tense encounter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n On Saturday, Jorginho wrote on Instagram that he, his wife Catherine Harding and his 11-year-old stepdaughter were staying at a S\u00e3o Paulo hotel ahead of Chappell\u2019s headlining performance at Lollapalooza Brazil when the singer, who was also apparently staying there, walked past their table at breakfast.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The soccer star wrote that the 11-year-old \u2014 who appears to be Ada Law, Harding\u2019s daughter with her ex, actor Jude Law \u2014 is a fan of the singer\u2019s music and \u201csimply walked past the singer\u2019s table\u201d to get a glimpse of her before returning to her family.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Jorginho accused Roan\u2019s security guard of a \u201ccompletely disproportionate\u201d response.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201c[He] began speaking in an extremely aggressive manner to both my wife and my daughter, saying that she shouldn\u2019t allow my daughter to \u2018disrespect\u2019 or \u2018harass\u2019 other people,\u201d wrote the soccer star, adding that the guard claimed he\u2019d file a complaint against them with the hotel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Jorginho used his own sports stardom to argue that he understands \u201cvery well what respect and boundaries are\u201d before adding, \u201cI sincerely hope this serves as a moment of reflection. No one should have to go through this, especially not a child.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Jorginho, who tagged the singer, continued, \u201cWITHOUT YOUR FANS, YOU WOULD BE NOTHING. AND TO THE FANS, SHE DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR AFFECTION.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
