Sarah \u201cFergie\u201d Ferguson, the ex-wife of disgraced former Prince Andrew, has denied reports she is planning to clone Queen Elizabeth\u2018s beloved corgis for television.<\/p>\n

In a statement shared with People<\/a>, Fergie rejected claims she intended to star in a new reality series in which she would sell clones of the late Queen\u2019s corgis, Muick and Sandy, which she and Andrew took in following the monarch\u2019s death.<\/p>\n

\u201cMs Ferguson regularly receives varied TV offers and proposals \u2014 often for reality shows which she always declines,\u201d Ferguson\u2019s representative said.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo be absolutely clear, she declined the proposal regarding a reality TV show involving the late Queen\u2019s corgis\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe received the proposal following some initial conversations with Halcyon media to discuss a potential program on dogs generally,\u201d the statement continued.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut conversations ended following her declining the opportunity suggested.\u201d<\/p>\n

Daily Mail<\/a> claimed in May 2023, eight months after the Queen\u2019s death in September 2022, Ferguson allegedly spoke with multiple production companies in the US about featuring the late monarch\u2019s surviving corgis in a show.<\/p>\n

According to the UK tabloid, producers developed a synopsis after speaking with Ferguson, outlining how the proposed reality cloning series would unfold.<\/p>\n

It read: \u201cWhen Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, is bequeathed two of the Queen\u2019s beloved corgis, she decides to embark on a bold and controversial business venture \u2014 cloning the royal pups.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut as she navigates the complex world of genetics and royal protocol, Sarah must also grapple with her own personal demons and strained relationship with the royal family.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail claimed Ferguson\u2019s income had been \u201cdramatically impacted\u201d by King Charles\u2019 decision to slash Andrew\u2019s allowance following the Queen\u2019s death.<\/p>\n
