Model\/Actriz released their great sophomore album Pirouette<\/a><\/em> just over a year ago, and today the glowering art-punks are keeping the party going with Swan Songs<\/em>, a new surprise-released EP. “Glassman” is a mash of industrial-inspired beats about spending a weekend with a crush; “Thank You By Dido” is an eerie ballad and not<\/em> a cover of “Thank You” by Dido; “Majesty” is a hypnotic, mellower reflection about accomplishing your dreams despite feeling alienated. I really hope the EP’s title doesn’t predicate Model\/Actriz’s inclusion on our 2026 In Memoriam list, but only time will tell. Listen to Swan Songs<\/em> below.<\/p>\n
